About McRae Care
McRae Care is a dedicated aged care consultancy based in Central NSW. Founded by Director Tanya Miller, who brings more than 20 years' experience in residential and community aged care nursing, the team is proud of delivering a new standard in aged care consulting with a truly client-centred approach.
Tanya Miller (née McRae) grew up in Central NSW, on sprawling acres with sheep, cattle and crops, surrounded by a loving family and some of her favourite people in the world — grandparents, great aunts and uncles, and dozens of family friends. From those early days Tanya saw both the beauty of growing older, and the challenges that can come with it - especially the way older members of our community and their families navigate change in life.
Since then, she has dedicated her career to aged care — in both residential and community settings. Deeply passionate about supporting older people and their loved ones through one of life’s most significant transitions, Tanya has seen first hand how overwhelming the system can feel.
"Too many people postpone the essential planning steps because it seems too hard, and then when care is needed they find themselves stranded. I want to change that."
Not only will McRae Care assist you in navigating the aged care system by simplifying the process, explaining your options, guiding you in decision-making, the team will also provide private care of the highest standard.
"I ensure that every person under my support receives dignified, respectful care that honours their identity, preferences and goals. I hold strong to the belief that older Australians deserve to live their later years with safety, choice and genuine connection."
Our offerings include guidance with My Aged Care assessments, assistance in selecting care options, in-home support, and customizable private care packages. Every service is designed to ensure compassion and respect for all our clients' needs.

Cass
McRae Care Team Member
I grew up in Orange, where my passion for caring for others began. Over the years, I have gained experience across aged care, palliative care, disability, and mental health, which has shaped both my skills and my approach to supporting people.
I was inspired to work in health by my grandfather and my mother, both of whom were dedicated to providing care to others. Their compassion and commitment continue to guide me.
I value building genuine connections and creating a safe, supportive space where people feel heard, respected, and understood. Supporting others through their challenges and celebrating their strengths is at the heart of why I do this work.

Born and raised on a small property south of Orange, this region holds a special place in my heart. Recently relocating to the region has been a grounding and meaningful experience, reminding me of the importance of connection, community, and caring for one another. My family and I are truly enjoying re-connecting with our roots, and the simplicity and beauty of country life.
After a rewarding 25-year professional journey in international shipping and commodities trading, I am now in my third year of a Bachelor of Paramedicine degree.
My parents, a clinical psychologist and registered nurse, have instilled in me the values of caring for others with kindness, compassion, and respect. I believe these qualities are at the centre of person-centred care, and I look forward to meeting people from across our community in supporting their personalised, integrated and compassionate care plans.
Outside of family, work and study, I enjoy spending time gardening, building, farming, swimming and generally keeping active.
